Iran great comedian Mehran Ghafourian operation goes well

Well-known Iranian comedian Mehran Ghafourian has done a successful operation.

Famous Iran comedian actor/director Mehran Ghafourian has undergone a successful operation and is now transferred to the general ward.

The operation was carried out on Wednesday, a media report quoted Mehran Maham who is a producer for a new Iranian TV series starring Ghafourian.  

He said that the actor was transferred to the general ward of an Iranian hospital, adding that he has not come around from the anaesthetic yet.

The producer also noted that the actor will be discharged from hospital in the next one or two days and can get back to play in the series ‘Puncture’.

Ghafourian was hospitalized Tuesday with an urgent surgery needed to be done for the actor.

The actor has acted in several series, such as ‘The Store’ (1996), ‘Night of the Fox’ (1996), ‘My Dad’s Inheritance’ (2005), ‘This New Year’ (2009), ‘Stepmother’ (2010), ‘A Way Out’ (2011), ‘Rental Home’ (2011-2012), ‘Suitcase’ (2012), ‘Bad Days Pass’ (2013), and 'In Hashieh' (2014-2015).

He entered cinematic films by appearing in ‘Charlatan’ (2004).

Ghafourian has also taken part in a number of other movies, including ‘The Choice’ (2004), ‘The Wrong Woman’ (2005), ‘Milk and Honey’ (2009), ‘Wedding Rings’ (2009), ‘Combo Pizza’ (2010), and ‘The Carriage’ (2013).
